Timing
It runs all year. A nudge at the right moment does the work.
Families can order whenever they like. In practice most of the money comes from a few weeks a year, so we suggest picking two or three and mentioning it then.
September. Back to school, and a whole year just gone.
Late November. A book of the year makes the present for grandparents.
January. Everyone is looking back at the year just finished.
July. The school year ending, and leavers in particular.

For the committee
Fundraising that needs no volunteers
Nothing to buy in, nothing to store, nothing to hand out and no float to count. We design the flyers, posters and wording, you share them however you already reach families, and we pay the association directly.

Ask us for a code
One email with your school name. We set up a code with your association's name on it, so parents see it at checkout.

We send your pack
Your code, the parent page link, the materials you asked for and a voucher for a book you can raffle.

We pay the PTFA
Every order against your code is counted. We total it up monthly and pay the association directly.
What we never ask you for
No class lists. No pupil names. No school photographs. No parent contact details. Families build their book from the photos already on their own phone, so there is nothing for the school to gather, check or consent to. It is one of the few fundraisers that creates no data protection work at all.

Questions committees ask
What does it cost the PTFA?
Nothing. There is no fee, no minimum order and no commitment. If nobody uses the code, the school simply raises nothing and you have lost nothing.
Do we have to buy, store or hand out anything?
No. There is no stock, no order forms and no money to collect. The whole thing is a code you share, and we make the flyer, poster or wording you need to share it with.
Do parents pay more because of the donation?
No. A book is 39.99 pounds delivered with the code or without it. The 5 pounds comes out of our margin, not out of the family's pocket.
Do you need any pupil data, photos or names from the school?
None at all. We never ask for a class list, a pupil name or a school photograph. Families build their book from the photos already on their own phone, and we never see the school's data.
What are the photos actually of?
Whatever is on that family's camera roll: holidays, birthdays, the dog, a wet Tuesday in the park. It is their family year, not a school yearbook, so nothing needs organising or approving by the school.
How do we know how much we have raised, and when are we paid?
Every order placed with your code is counted against it, so we can tell you exactly how many books it came from. We total it up monthly and pay the association directly. Ask us for a running total any time in between. You get a number, never a list of who ordered.
What happens if a parent forgets the code?
That order will not count towards the school, which is the one thing worth repeating whenever you mention it. The code is the only thing linking a purchase to your PTFA.
How long does the code last?
It does not expire, so it can sit somewhere permanent all year. Most of the money still comes from a few well timed reminders though, usually September, late November, January and the end of the summer term.
