Million Tiny Moments photobook app
Photobook Privacy Policy
This is the public privacy policy page you can link from the app and submit in App Store Connect for the photobook experience.
Who this policy applies to
This privacy policy applies to the Million Tiny Moments photobook app and the related photobook pages on this website.
Million Tiny Moments is responsible for deciding how personal data covered by this policy is used.
Why the app asks for photo library access
The app requests access to your photo library so it can review the images you choose for photobook creation.
That permission is used only to identify, score, and organise photos for your book. It is not used for advertising, data broking, or unrelated profiling.
You can stop access at any time in your device settings.
How your photos are handled
Image analysis and curation run on-device, so your full photo library is not uploaded to us just to review or score it.
After curation, the app generates a print-ready PDF. If you choose to order a printed book, that curated PDF and the fulfilment details needed to complete your order are sent to the relevant print-on-demand provider.
We do not claim ownership over your photos or the photobooks you create from them.
Data we may collect
Photo library permission status and the limited image data needed on your device to curate your book.
Your email address and marketing consent choice where you provide them.
Order, payment, and delivery details if you buy a printed photobook.
The curated PDF for your order, which is temporarily held for fulfilment for up to 5 days.
How we use data
To let you generate, export, and manage photobooks.
To fulfil print orders and customer support requests.
To process payments, manage email consent records, and provide limited operational storage for the curated PDF during fulfilment.
To comply with legal obligations.
When data is shared
We use only the service providers needed to operate the photobook service. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or in-app account authentication providers for this workflow.
Stripe processes payments for printed book orders.
Where a printed book is ordered, the curated PDF and the delivery information required to produce and ship that order are shared with Gelato as the print-on-demand fulfilment provider.
Supabase stores your email address, marketing consent record, and the curated PDF for up to 5 days to support fulfilment and service operations.
Sentry is used for crash reporting to help us identify and fix technical issues. Crash reports may include device type, OS version, and a stack trace, but do not include your photos or personal data.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect users, the service, or our legal rights.
Retention
Photos that remain on your device are controlled by you.
Curated PDFs held on our systems for fulfilment are retained for up to 5 days and then deleted, unless a longer period is required to resolve a support or legal issue.
Email, consent, payment, order, and support records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose they were collected for, including legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and support requirements.
Your choices and rights
You can revoke photo access in iOS settings and delete app data from your device at any time.
You can email support to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal data where applicable.
To make a privacy request, email support@milliontinymoments.com.
GDPR and UK GDPR
If you are in the UK or EEA, we process personal data only where we have a valid legal basis, including performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, or your consent where required.
If you gave marketing consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are in the UK.
Children's privacy
The photobook app is intended for adults creating family photobooks. It is not designed for children to create accounts independently.
If you believe personal data relating to a child has been provided to us in error, contact us and we will review the request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the updated date shown above.
