The things people ask
I have about eleven thousand photos. Where would I even start?
You would not. That is the entire point of the app. It reads the year for you, throws out the blurred ones, the screenshots and the fourteen near-identical shots of the same moment, and puts the keepers in order. You look at what it picked and change anything you disagree with.
How long does it actually take?
About ten minutes for most people, and most of that is looking through what the app chose because it is quite nice to look at. There is no dragging photos into boxes and no design work.
Does the code cost me anything?
No. The book is 39.99 pounds delivered whether you use the code or not. The 5 pounds for the school comes out of our side, not yours.
What if I forget to enter the code?
You still get your book, but the school gets nothing for it, because the code is the only thing that tells us where to send the donation. It is worth doing at the moment you check out rather than meaning to come back to it.
Do my photos get shared with the school or with you?
No. The app looks at your photos on your own phone to choose them, and only the ones that end up in your book are sent for printing. Nobody at the school sees anything, and we do not keep your camera roll.
What is the book actually like?
A soft matte, wipe-clean hardcover, 8x8 inches (20x20cm), 48 pages, printed on high quality photo paper. It opens easily and is sturdy enough for little hands to flick through. It is the sort of thing that ends up on the coffee table rather than in a drawer.
Can I do a previous year, not just this one?
Yes. Pick any year you have photos for. A lot of people start with the year they had a baby, or the last year everyone was still at the same school.
