How it works
Your year, chosen and laid out for you.
The best memories aren’t the perfect photos. They’re the ordinary, in-between ones you never got round to doing anything with. Here’s how a year of them becomes a book, with almost nothing for you to do.
Under the hood
Quiet engineering, doing the hard part
The moment you pick a year, a lot happens, all of it on your phone.
On-device analysis
Scoring and selection run on your iPhone, using the photo data already there. Nothing is uploaded.
Face detection, not recognition
It spots whether a photo has a face, so people-free shots drop out. It never works out who anyone is.
Quality scoring
Sharpness, exposure and resolution are read from the camera's data, so blurry shots fall down the order.
Burst de-duplication
Ten near-identical shots in a row become the single best one.
Event-aware selection
Busier days get more space, so a birthday or a holiday is properly represented.
Automatic layout
The keepers are fitted to a page count and arranged in order, so the book flows.
All you actually do
The clever part is invisible. Your side takes minutes.
- Pick a year, or a date range.
- Let it read your camera roll. It takes seconds.
- Preview, swap anything, add your own favourites.
- Order. It arrives in 3 to 5 days.
Why on-device matters
Your memories stay yours
It all happens on your phone. Your photos are never uploaded to be analysed and never used to train anything. Only the ones you choose for the book are sent off, to be printed.
See it with your own photos.
Free to download, and you can preview your whole book before paying a penny. You only pay when you order, £39.99, delivery included.
